STARTINGTHE ENGINE
1_Disconnect all electric appliances from generator before sta_ing.
2_Turn fuel shut_off I_verto "ON"
3_Move Choke lever all the way to the ieft
4_Turn engine switch to 'sON°'position_
5. Puil recoil starlet cord slowly until engaged, then pull briskly to sta_.
6_Once engine has sta_ed, move choke iever al! the way' backto the right°
CONNECTING ELECTRICALAPPLIANCES
A!ways allow engine to warm up before connecting any electrical !oad
to the generator:

1 Turn off alt appfiances, then disconnect them from the generator_

4. Allow engine to cool before attempting to move the generator or to refuel.
RESE_ING BREAKERBUTTONS
if reset tripS, disconnect a_iexternai electrical appliances before pushing the reset
button._After reconnecting the external electrical appliance, if reset continues to trip
that indicates that the e_ectricallead connected to the generator from one or more of
the appliances may have a shod circuiL in that event, discontinue use of that item
until it has beenchecked and/or repaired by a qualified technician.
DOICMAINTENANCE
Service intervals
Cteanair filter after every 150 hours of run time_ (if used in very dusty conditions,
clean air filter after every 10 hours of run time)
1. Remove foam fitter and wash in mild detergent or dish washing liquid.
2. Rinse thoroughly, than squeezeout excess wa4:er.
3. Allow to thoroughiy dry at room temperature.
4 Pour a small amount of gasoline in filter element, then squeezeout any
excess gasoline.
5. Replace filter.
Cleanspark plug every 50 hours of run time.
1. Remove spark plug and clean electrode with wire brush.
2. Reset gap to .028o.031 in. (.7o_8mm)
