4.1- DELIVERY OF THE MACHINE
The package contains:
- N. 1 THOR generator.
- N. 1 torch
- N. 1 instructions manual.
- N. 1 guarantee
Check that all the material listed above is included in the package.
Inform your distributor if anything is missing.
Check that the generator has not been damaged in transport. If you see
any sign of damage, consult the COMPLAINTS section for instructions.
Before working with the THOR, read the SAFETY and USE section of
this manual.
4.2- COMPLAINTS
Complaints for damage during transport: If your equipment is
damaged during transport, send a complaint in writing to the carriers.
Complaints for faulty goods: All the equipment shipped by STEL SRL
has been subjected to strict quality control.
However, if your equipment does not work correctly, consult the
TROUBLESHOOTING section in this manual.
If the fault persists, consult your authorised dealer.
4.3- LIFTING AND HANDLING
Once the packaging has been removed, the machine may be lifted and
handled manually by means of the handle on the top. (FIG. 2-Ref. 1).
During transport the operator must take care not to knock the machine
accidentally against persons, animals or things.
4.4- POSITIONING
The machine must be positioned on a surface that ensures stability, far
from sources of heat, dripping water, inflammable and/or explosive
material.
TRANSPORT
IT IS OBLIGATORY TO ENSURE THAT, DURING CUTTING, THE REAR
AND THE SIDES OF THE MACHINE ARE FREE FROM OBSTACLES AND
AT A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 1000 MM. TO GUARANTEE
CIRCULATION OF THE AIR PROVIDED BY THE INTERNAL FAN.
