The In-line Duct Ventilation Fan, branded STERR, is a modern ventilation product designed for concealed installation in various settings. It utilizes advanced technology and high-grade plastics for its impeller and a reasonably designed flowing tunnel, which contributes to its pressure-increasing effect. This ventilator is characterized by its modern design, small volume, low noise, and large air flow volume, ensuring steady operation. It is extensively applied in houses, shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment places, serving as an accessory to air conditioning units to increase air flow exchange frequency.

Usage Features:
Installation of the STERR In-line Duct Ventilation Fan requires careful attention to several points to ensure proper function and safety.
- Electrical Connection: The power line of the exhaust fan must be correctly connected to the electrical circuit. A multi-pole switch is required for installation, with a minimum gap of 3mm between switch contacts.
- Pipeline Connection: The two individual sides of the fan should be connected with pipelines and tightened with clamp bands. It is crucial to avoid certain pipeline configurations, such as excessive bending angles, reducing the diameter of the junction part, or having too many bending parts, as these can hinder performance.
- Pre-Operation Check: Before full operation, when starting the exhaust fan, it is important to check for any malfunctions. This includes verifying that the impeller works well and ensuring there is no strong vibration or strange noise. If no malfunctions are detected, the fan should be shut down, and the connecting box mounted.
- Installation Height and Clearance: The distance between the ceiling and the exhaust fan should be above 5cm. The installation height of the exhaust fan must be at least 2.3m above the ground.
- Environmental Considerations: Avoid installing the exhaust fan in damp or high-temperature areas. Additionally, prevent poisonous gases from entering the pipelines.
- Switch Usage: While the exhaust fan is generally controlled by a switch, it is advisable to reduce switch use as much as possible. If the fan is to be off for a long time, it is recommended to shut down the bipolar switch.
- Airflow Management: Provide an inspection hole in the ceiling and an inlet hole for fresh air to flow into the room. Avoid back-flow through the opening pipeline.
- Power Cord Safety: If the electrical source soft line is damaged, it must be replaced with a special soft line provided by the manufacturer or maintenance department. This replacement must be carried out by a qualified person to avoid any danger.
- User Safety: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning its use by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of the STERR In-line Duct Ventilation Fan.
- Pre-Cleaning Steps: Before cleaning, always switch off the power and then dismount the exhaust fan.
- Cleaning Plastic Parts: Plastic parts can be washed in water with a temperature below 60°C. Never use chemical solvents such as petrol or benzene, as these can damage the material. It is crucial to prevent water from entering the motor.
- Drying: After cleaning, allow the parts to dry naturally or wipe them with a soft dry cloth before reassembling them.
Warranty Regulations:
The STERR In-line Duct Ventilation Fan comes with specific warranty terms:
- Motor Guarantee: The quality guarantee for the motor is 2 years.
- Free Repair/Replacement: Within the guarantee period, any malfunctions arising under correct operations will be repaired and replaced free of charge.
- Lifelong Maintenance: Lifelong maintenance is offered. If the guarantee time is exceeded, the cost of parts and materials will be charged.
