1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
gReplace faulty silencer.
gMake sure that the working area is clear of stones,sticks,wire or
other objects that could damage the product or its engine.
gDo not till very wet soil because it tends to stick to the working
tool preventing the proper rotation, and it could also cause you to
slip and fall.
gAlways maintain a rm grip on the product. For better guidance
apply light pressure to handles.
gDo not try to till too deeply or force the product into soil that is
extremely hard or resistant.
gWalk the product through the soil at a normal pace and in as
straight a line as possible.
gTill in slight overlapping rows. The most eective pattern for
tilling soils is moving the produce up and down in verticals lines,
then move the product in horizontal lines from left to right. This
will keep the rows even and ensures that all the ground is tilled
without missing any spots.
gPay special attention when changing direction.Apply light pressure
onto the handle so that the tines are lifted to make a turn. Turn the
product around guided by the wheels. Gradually release pressure
and move the tines back to the ground.
gWork only in daylight or in good articial light.
gAlways be sure of your footing on slopes.
gWalking, never run with the machine.
gWork across the slopes, never up and down.
gExercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
gDo not work on excessively steep slopes.
gUse extreme caution when reversing or pulling the product
towards you.
gDo not change the engine governor settings or overspeed the
