WARNING Electrocution
Before any work on the appliance, ensure omnipolar
disconnection from the power supply.
Draining the appliance
The appliance can be drained for maintenance work.
WARNING Burns
Hot water may escape when you drain the appliance.
 Close the 3-way shut-off valve or the shut-off valve in the
cold water supply line.
 Open all draw-off valves.
 Undo the water connections on the appliance.
 If dismantled, store the appliance in a room free from the
risk of frost, as water residues remaining inside the appli-
ance can freeze and cause damage.
Cleaning the strainer
If contaminated, clean the strainer in the threaded cold water
fitting. Close the 3-way shut-off valve or the shut-off valve in the
cold water supply line before removing, cleaning and refitting
the strainer.
