Read and follow all safety precautions. Improper use can cause serious or fatal injury.
Never operate without a deflector; keep bystanders at least 15m (50ft) away.
Wear goggles and sound barriers to prevent eye injury and hearing damage.
Check mowing head condition regularly to prevent shattering and injury from broken parts.
Replace worn mowing heads immediately or contact an authorized STIHL dealer.
Soak cutting lines in water for 12-24 hours before use to increase their useful life.
