N Engage the throttle cable (4) with
sleeve (5) in the retainer (6).
Wear mark on nozzle
The front end of the nozzle wears away
due to abrasive ground contact during
operation. Replace the nozzle when it
has worn as far as the wear mark.
Fitting the transport aid
When storing or transporting the
machine:
N Secure the velcro strip to the blower
tube – pull the flap through the
buckle.
N Secure the blower tube to the
handle on the backplate.
It may be necessary to correct the
adjustment of the throttle cable after
assembling the machine or after a
prolonged period of operation.
Adjust the throttle cable only when the
unit is completely and properly
assembled.
N Set throttle trigger to the full throttle
position – as far as stop.
N Carefully rotate the screw in the
throttle trigger in the direction of the
arrow until you feel initial resistance.
Then rotate it another full turn.
