N Switch off the motor and activate the
auger brake – see "Auger brake"
N Put down the auger – drilling spindle
facing upwards
N Pull the retaining pin (1) out of the
auger shaft
N Push the auger (2) onto the drilling
spindle until the holes (3) align
N Insert the retaining pin into the hole
N Fold down the spring clip of the
retaining pin so that it encloses the
auger shaft
Activating the auger brake
N Set the activating lever to A
Starting
N Press the throttle trigger lockout (1)
and throttle trigger (2) in succession
N Hold both triggers down
N Move the slide control (3) to START
and hold it in position too
N Release the throttle trigger, slide
control and throttle trigger lockout in
succession = starting throttle
position
