Steam ironing
The machine works with normal tap water. In case of very hard water (hardness above 27ºF) we suggest
using 50% distilled water diluted with tap water. Alternatively, we suggest using normal bottled drinking
water. The use of de-ionized water is not recommended.
1. Grasp the water tank’s handle to remove the water tank, then fill it with water through the filling aperture. You
had better use purified water with less calcium particles. After it, replace the water tank properly. The max capacity
of water tank is 1.8L, the water level shall not be exceeded the MAX mark.
2. Put the iron on the thermal insulation stand of unit base.
3. Connect plug to the wall outlet, press down the power switch, and the defaulted low steam rate indicator will
flash. And there are three modes including low, medium and high steam rate available, you can select the desired
steam rate for each garment according to your requirement. Make sure that there is enough water in the tank.
4. Turn temperature dial to your desired setting depending on the fabric or garment and within the steam section, as
shown in the TEMPERATURE DIAL paragraph. The temperature indicator will illuminate. The iron starts heating. Refer
to “IRONING TIPS” and “ADDITIONAL TABLE” as below when select temperature.
5. The water in the steam generator will be heated, after a few minutes, the temperature indicator will extinguish, it
indicates the soleplate temperature has achieved the selected temperature. When the indicator of defaulted steam
rate changes from flashing to illuminating, it indicates that the iron is ready for ironing garment with steam.
6. Press the steam trigger with a little force, the steam will be sprayed from the soleplate continuously, and then you
can iron the garment with steam. When need to remove tough wrinkle, press the steam trigger twice within 1 second
to activate the shot of steam.
7. After ironing, press down the power switch for about 2 seconds, the appliance will be turned off and all the
indicators will extinguish. Remove the plug from the wall socket. But the soleplate is still hot, never touch it with
hand, place it on the thermal insulation stand until it cools down completely.
Note: There may be dripping water during spraying steam when the iron’s temperature is set at the second
setting (
●●
) or lower than the second setting (
●●
). This is normal.
Caution: 1) Do not touch hot soleplate at any time before cooling down!
2) Never direct the steam at people!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, firstly disconnect the power outlet and let the appliance cools down.
1. Wipe flakes and any other deposits on the soleplate with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
NOTE: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to scrape the soleplate.
2. Clean the upper part of iron with a soft damp cloth. Wipe the water drop on the unit base and the thermal
insulation stand with a dry cloth.
3. To remove the mineral deposits collecting at inner steam generator, follow the operation as below: firstly reverse the
unit base and place it on a level surface horizontally, make sure that the unit base shall be placed stably, then cover
a towel on the knob and rotate the knob with the towel to detach it, after it, drain the steam generator, then refill
the steam generator with clean water to clean it well (see Fig. 4).
WARNING: To avoid a risk of scald, make sure the steam generator has been cooled down completely before
removing the knob.
