LIGHT TOWER SUPPORT
The 6DS-SP supports a three (red/green/yellow) light tower or a four
(red/green/yellow/blue) light tower. Refer to Calibration Variables in the
Appendices of the 6DS-SP Maintenance manual for configuration selections.
Refer to electrical drawing 217946E7 for details on relays.
The three light tower operates as shown below:
Color Condition
RED • The machine is halted or has an error condition.
• The light will also be red if the machine's 24 VDC supply
fails or if the I/O system controlling the relays fails and
sets its outputs to their normally off state.
YELLOW • The machine is idle. If there is no error condition, the light
will be yellow while the machine is performing a slurry flush
or is in the manual control or diagnostic mode.
GREEN • The machine is either polishing or conditioning without
being halted or having an error condition.
Note: Only one light will be on at a time.
