Operations Model 6DS-SP Planarizer
4 - 50 Version 4.0 - February 1998
PASSWORD MENU
This menu allows changing the password level, creating passwords, and
deleting passwords. There are three password levels: "Operator",
"Engineer", and "Maintenance". These levels determine which function key
choices are available for each menu.
The "Operator" level does not require a password and permits machine
operation but not recipe changes or maintenance. The machine always
powers up in the operator level.
The "Engineer" level may require an engineer password and permits
operation and recipe changes but not maintenance. If no engineer passwords
exist, the engineer password level will be immediately set if the function key
Set to 'Engr' is pressed.
The "Maintenance" level may require a maintenance password and permits
access to all functions. If no maintenance passwords exist, the ,Maintenance
password level will be immediately set if the function key Set to 'Maint' is
pressed.
There can be up to 15 engineer passwords and 15 maintenance passwords.
The passwords are not used for anything other than setting the function key
permissions.
