Remote controlled
playback
The
playback
mode may be
remote
controlled by a contact
on
one of the
faders
of the mixing desk.
The contact should be open
wlth
the
fader
set
to
infinlte attenuation. It swltches
the
supply of an
external
24 V
source
to
a
relay in the recorder via
pins
10
and
1l
(
fig.
S
).
With this circuit the
machine wiII start when opening the
fader
and stop
when
closing it agaln.
If the internal supply
of the machine
is
to be
used lnstead
of
an
external
24 V source,
pins
2 and
10
should
be llnked,
and
the fader contact connected to
pins
3
and
II.
The mode of operation can be monitored by means of
suitable
pilot
lamps,
