SIDE PANEL HNSTALLATHON
If you're instaHHng a Built-in modeH with side
paneHs, check with your instaHHer or use one of
the foHHowing Side PaneH JnstaHHafion Options.
DrHH three holies equidistant in a verficaH
section of the aHuminum frame, and instaHH pan
head screws. Do not drHH through modeH and
seriaH number pilate. Anchor the side paneH
with decorative screws or finishing naiHs from
a HocaH hardware store. Do not use adhesives.
Refer to iHHustration 16 below.
The dimensions given in the Side PaneH
InstaHHation Options are for typicaH wood side
panels. If a 1/4" (6) thick or Hess paneH is used
and inserted into the return channeH extrusion,
then a 241/4" (616) wide paneH is necessary. In
this appHication, the paneH must be notched for
the griHHe and other brackets or screws that are
in the return channel Toe kick cut-outs will be
necessary for aHHside paneH appHications. Refer
to iHHustration 17 bellow.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The use of side paneHs
may change the width of your rough opening,
IMPORTANT NOTE: The overaHHheight on the
side paneH will vary with the height of the griHHe
being used. Make sure you know your finished
height before cutting any paneJs.
