13.1. INSERTING THE BALLAST

To insert the ballast (23 - Fig. 7) proceed as follows (see indications in the figure below).
Open the SCOOTER (see instructions in the paragraph "Opening the battery compartment"), unscrew the two
threaded knobs (22 - a, see below image).
The sea ballast (23) is made up of two parts, as shown in the following image:
component 2 is inserted in the hole located between the two knurled knobs (b), while component 1 closes the
aforementioned hole and fixed by screwing the two threaded knobs (c).
The ballast (21 - Fig. 7) is positioned in the factory and must not be removed or
replaced.
