If your SummerAire Electric Heater isn't working, there might be a few reasons. First, ensure the heater is properly plugged into a powered outlet. Check the front access door safety switch. Unlatch the door and inspect the safety switch. If these steps don't solve the issue, it could be a defective component, and you should contact your installer.

What to do if SummerAire SHRV124T Electric Heater HRV status panel is flashing HIGH continuously?

      Kenneth GilmoreAug 17, 2025
If the HRV status panel on your SummerAire Electric Heater is flashing HIGH continuously, it could be due to several reasons. The internal or external dehumidistat might be set too low; adjust the dehumidistat RH setting or set point to a higher level. Also, check if a remote push button has been activated. If the issue persists, it may indicate a defective dehumidistat or PC board, in which case you should contact your installer.

Why is the SummerAire SHRV124T's fan not running when the On/Off switch is illuminated?
    • R
      Robert MartinAug 27, 2025
If the On/Off switch on your SummerAire Electric Heater's HRV front panel lights up but the fan isn't running, the mode of operation might be set to “Auto Off.” Try selecting a different operation mode either on the HRV itself or via a remote device. If this doesn't solve the problem, there may be a defective component, and you should contact your installer.
