Important Technical Specifications

  • Power Supply: 120V, 60Hz
  • Dimensions (WDH): 595mm * 595mm * 850mm (approximately 23.4 inches * 23.4 inches * 33.5 inches)
  • Net Weight: 73kg (161 lbs)
  • Washing Capacity: 12.0kg (26 lbs)
  • Rated Current: 11A
  • Standard Water Pressure: 0.05MPa ~ 1MPa
  • Heating Function: The maximum current when using the heating function is 12A.
  • Water Heater Requirement: A water heater set to deliver 120°F (49°C) water is recommended.
  • Water Pressure: 20-100 psi (137.9-689.6 kPa).
  • Electrical Outlet: Grounded 3-prong outlet, 15- or 20-amp, fused electrical supply.
  • Drain System: Requires a minimum 2-inch (50mm) diameter standpipe, with the top at least 60cm (23.6 inches) and no higher than 100cm (39.4 inches) from the bottom of the washer. A laundry tub drain system requires a minimum 20-gallon (76L) capacity, with the top at least 60cm above the floor. A floor drain system requires a siphon break at a minimum of 28 inches (710mm) from the bottom of the washer.

Usage Features

  • Installation: Requires a rigid, dry, and level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Proper grounding is essential to prevent electric shock. Transport bolts and foam must be removed before first use. Inlet pipes connect to hot and cold water taps, and the drain hose can be configured for standpipe, laundry tub, or floor drain systems.
  • Detergent Use: Recommends "low bubble" detergent or washing powder specifically for drum washing machines. Bleacher should be used sparingly. Liquid detergents are preferred to avoid residues. Detergent and softener are added to a dedicated drawer with separate compartments for pre-detergent, main detergent, softener, and additives.
  • Laundry Preparation: Clothes should be sorted by fabric type, color, and size. Fasteners (zips, buttons, hooks) should be secured. Delicate items like bras should be placed in a pillow slip or string bag. Water-proof materials (e.g., ski suits, raincoats) should not be washed to prevent abnormal vibration and potential damage. Items with decorations or embroideries should be turned inside out.
  • First-Time Use: Before washing clothes for the first time, the machine should be run through a complete cycle without clothes, using a small amount of detergent.
  • Safety: Emphasizes unplugging the machine before any service, not tampering with controls, and keeping children and pets away from the appliance, especially during operation when the glass door can be very hot. Warnings against washing items with flammable substances or foam rubber are highlighted.

Maintenance Features

  • General Cleaning: The cabinet surface can be cleaned with diluted non-abrasive neutral detergents. Any water overflow should be wiped immediately.
  • Internal Drum Cleaning: Rusts from metal articles should be removed with chlorine-free detergents. The "Tub Clean" program is specifically designed for high-temperature sterilization of the drum and tube, with the option to add chlorine bleaching agent for better effect.
  • Detergent Box and Grooves: The detergent drawer and its grooves should be cleaned regularly by pressing down on the softener cover, lifting the clip, and washing with water.
  • Inlet Filter: The inlet filter (both at the tap connection and at the machine's backside) should be cleaned periodically to ensure proper water flow. This involves closing the tap, running a short cycle to drain water, removing the inlet pipe, and washing the filter.
  • Drain Pump Filter: The drain pump filter should be inspected and cleaned regularly to remove yarns and foreign matters that can block the pump or cause unusual noise. This involves opening the lower cover cap, rotating the emergency drain hose, draining accumulated water, and then removing and cleaning the filter.
  • Anti-freeze: If the machine is in a location prone to freezing, the remaining water in the drain pipe and inlet pipe should be thoroughly drained. This involves closing the tap, disconnecting the inlet pipe, and running a short cycle (excluding Wash or Drain) for about 40 seconds to clear water from the inlet pipe.
  • Emergency Door Release: In case of power failure or if the door cannot be opened, an emergency pull cord inside the emergency door allows manual opening. It is recommended to wait until the water cools down to avoid burns.

The manual also includes a troubleshooting guide with common problems, their possible reasons, and solutions, as well as a table of washing procedures with default settings for load, temperature, time, and optional functions. It concludes with care label symbols and a limited warranty statement.
