      If your Sunbeam electric blanket isn't heating, first ensure the control is securely plugged into the blanket and clicked into place. Also, verify the power cord is connected to a working power outlet and switched on. For double and queen blankets, confirm that both controls are properly connected and plugged in. If using a powerboard, make sure it has a safety cut out and is functioning correctly by testing it with another device. If only one side is working, swap the controllers to see if the issue is with the controller itself. Wait 20 minutes after swapping to see if the blanket heats.
