If the pump on your Sundance Spas Hot Tub isn't working, first press the JETS 1 button. Ensure power is going to the hot tub and verify the water level. Also, check that all jets are in the open position. The pump may need priming, especially after draining and refilling. Press the JETS 1 button several times for 5-10 seconds each time. Finally, turn the power off and release air from the plumbing by removing the filter cartridge. Reinstall the filter before turning the power back on.

      jennycarpenterAug 27, 2025
If you see 'FL--1' or 'FL--2' on your Sundance Spas Hot Tub display, immediately turn the power off. Verify the water level is above all jets but below the lowest pillow; add water if needed. Check for a clogged or dirty filter cartridge. To purge an air lock, remove the filter cartridge and use a garden hose over the filter cartridge wall fitting with a rag seal while a helper turns on the water for 30 seconds, then off. Reinstall the filter cartridge and check the hot tub. If the circulation pump isn't running, turn the power off at the main breaker, then back on.
