The Sunding Bicycle Computer SD-548C is a 14-function device designed to track various cycling metrics.
The computer offers a comprehensive set of functions to monitor cycling performance and provide essential information:
Computer Battery Installation: To install the computer battery, remove the battery cover from the bottom using a flat blade screwdriver. Insert one CR2032 battery with the positive (+) pole facing the battery cover, then replace the cover. If the LCD shows irregular figures, remove and reinstall the battery.
Sensor Transmitter Battery Installation: Similarly, remove the battery cover from the bottom of the sensor transmitter using a flat blade screwdriver. Install one 23A 12V battery with the positive (+) pole facing the battery cover, and then replace the cover. If irregular figures appear on the LCD, remove and reinstall the battery.
Sensor Transmitter Attachment: Attach the sensor transmitter to the left fork blade using cable ties. The distance between the computer and the sensor should not exceed 60cm. Shims can be used to adjust the diameter for a secure fit. Position the sensor transmitter and magnet as shown in the diagram, ensuring the arc of the magnet intersects the alignment mark on the sensor transmitter with a 1.5mm clearance.
Mounting Shoe: Attach the mounting shoe to the handlebar using cable ties. Adjust its position on the handlebar with shims for stability.
Computer Attachment: Slide the computer onto the mounting shoe until it snaps firmly into place. To remove, press the button on the computer in the opposite direction. To verify proper speed function and sensor alignment, spin the front wheel while the computer is in speed mode. Adjust the sensor and magnet positions if there is no or weak reaction.
Wheel Size Input: Upon battery installation, '2060' will appear with one flashing figure. Select the correct wheel circumference from the provided table. Use the RIGHT button to advance digits and the LEFT button to confirm and advance. The circumference range is 0mm to 9999mm. Press the LEFT button to enter KM/M mode.
Setting (km/h) / (m/h): Press the RIGHT button to choose between km/h or m/h. Press the LEFT button to enter CLOCK mode.
CLK Mode (12H/24H): In CLOCK Mode, press the LEFT button for 3 seconds to select 12/24H. Re-press LEFT to toggle. Press RIGHT to enter Hour setting mode; when the HOUR figure flashes, use LEFT to adjust. Continue pressing RIGHT to enter Minute setting mode; when the MINUTE figure flashes, use LEFT to adjust. Press RIGHT to confirm and again to enter ODO mode.
Setting the Last Value of Odometer: In ODO mode, press the LEFT button for 2 seconds to set the ODO value (initial value 0000.0). When a figure flashes, use RIGHT to adjust and LEFT to confirm, then proceed to set the next figure. This allows inputting previous odometer values after battery replacement.
Reset of Mileage Parameter: In ODO mode, press and hold both RIGHT and LEFT buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to clear the tire circumference and km/m settings. The original ODO value and CLOCK will remain unaffected.
Speedometer: Speed is continuously displayed, with a maximum reading of 99.9 km/h (m/h) and an accuracy of +/- 0.1 km/h (m/h).
Speed Comparator: During riding, '+' or '-' indicates if the current speed is higher or lower than the average speed (AVS).
Odometer: In ODO mode, the total distance is shown. The range is 0.001 to 99999 km (m). The display resets to 0 if the value exceeds the maximum limit. Press RIGHT to enter DST mode.
Trip Distance (DST): In DST mode, the distance for one trip is shown on the bottom line. The range is 0.001 to 9999 km (m). It resets to 0 if the value exceeds the limit. Both time and distance records clear if the trip time exceeds range limits. Press LEFT for 5 seconds to clear DST, MXS, AVS, and TM records. Press RIGHT to enter MXS mode.
Maximum Speed (MXS): In MXS mode, the maximum speed is shown on the bottom line. Press LEFT for 5 seconds to clear MXS, DST, AVS, and TM records. Press RIGHT to enter AVS mode.
Average Speed (AVS): In AVS mode, the average speed is shown on the bottom line. Press LEFT for 5 seconds to clear AVS, DST, MXS, and TM records. Press RIGHT to enter TM mode.
Trip Time (TM): In TM mode, the trip time is shown on the bottom line, ranging from 0:00:00 to 99:59:59. It resets to 0 if the value exceeds the limits. Press LEFT for 5 seconds to clear TM, DST, MXS, and AVS records. Press RIGHT to enter SCAN mode.
SCAN Mode: In SCAN mode, DST, MXS, AVS, and TM modes are displayed in turn every 4 seconds. Press RIGHT to enter CLOCK mode.
Sleep Mode: If no signal is received for 300 seconds, the computer enters Sleep Mode, and the CLK value remains. It will return to the previous mode with all collected data when any signal is input or any button is pressed.
Freeze Frame Memory: Press the LEFT button at any time to enter Freeze Frame Memory mode. Flashing TM data will appear. Press RIGHT to view DST, MXS, AVS, and TM records. Press LEFT to exit.
Buttons Instruction: Press the RIGHT button to cycle through ODO, DST, MXS, AVS, TM, SCAN (DST, MXS, AVS, TM), and CLOCK modes. The LEFT button is primarily used for Freeze Frame Memory mode. In Freeze Frame Memory mode, press RIGHT to display various data, then re-press LEFT to return to other modes.
