This document describes the Suntec Wellness Klimatronic Dynamic portable air conditioner, available in Dynamic 6.0 plus and Dynamic 8.0 plus models. This device is designed to provide cooling and ventilation, offering a portable solution for maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures.
The Klimatronic Dynamic is a portable air conditioner that cools and ventilates rooms. It operates by extracting warm, moist air from the room and expelling it outside through an exhaust hose. The unit features a compressor for cooling and a fan for air circulation. It can operate in automatic, cooling, or fan modes, allowing users to select the desired function based on ambient conditions. The device also includes a timer function, enabling scheduled operation for up to 12 hours. A "Water Full" indicator alerts the user when the internal reservoir is full, at which point the compressor and motor will stop, and the unit will buzz until the water is drained. The cooling system automatically switches off if the ambient temperature falls below the set temperature, but ventilation continues. Cooling resumes when the temperature rises above the selected level.
The unit is designed for easy portability, allowing it to be moved from room to room. It should always be placed on a stable ground base and transported in a vertical position. Proper installation involves connecting an exhaust hose to direct hot air outside, either through a window using supplied foam strips or through a 130mm diameter hole in a wall or window using an adaptor. The exhaust hose should be kept as short as possible and free of kinks or bends to prevent moisture buildup and overheating. The control panel, located on the front of the unit, features a display window, buttons for power, timer, temperature adjustment (up/down), speed (ventilation), and mode selection. Indicators for compressor, "Water Full," fan mode, cooling mode, automatic mode, high/low ventilation, and timer operation provide visual feedback on the unit's status. A remote control is also provided for convenient operation, requiring two AAA batteries. The air flow direction can be adjusted by turning a roller on the air vent. For optimal energy saving, it is recommended to use the unit in the recommended room size, avoid obstructing airflow, keep blinds/curtains closed during sunny periods, close fireplace dampers or wall registers, and keep filters clean. Setting the unit to maximum cooling and high-speed ventilation initially, then adjusting to a comfortable setting, is also advised. The pre-setting temperature for cooling is 24°C.
Regular maintenance is crucial for the efficient operation and longevity of the Klimatronic Dynamic. Before any cleaning or maintenance, the unit must always be unplugged from the mains. The housing can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth; aggressive chemicals, gasoline, detergents, or chemically treated cloths should be avoided as they can damage the cabinet. The air filter should be cleaned regularly by removing it from the unit, using a vacuum cleaner or tapping it lightly to remove dust, rinsing it thoroughly under running water (not hotter than 40°C), and drying it completely before re-installation. The unit should never be operated without the filters. An active carbon filter is also included and should be removed from its plastic bag and inserted into the back of the unit after removing the filter frame. For end-of-season storage, the unit should be unplugged, all condensed water completely drained, and the filter cleaned or changed. To ensure the interior is dry, the unit should be run in ventilation mode for a couple of hours on a sunny day. It is recommended to store the unit in its original carton and avoid stacking heavy objects on top of it. Water drainage can be performed manually by positioning a container under the drain hole, removing the drain knob and rubber plug, and allowing the water to drain. Once emptied, the rubber plug and drain knob should be replaced and tightened. Alternatively, continuous drainage can be set up by removing the drain knob and rubber plug and connecting the supplied drain tube to the water outlet, directing the other end into a drain. The drain tube can be extended with an additional tube (OD: 18mm), ensuring the drain is at or below the outlet level. In continuous drainage mode, the "comp/full water" indicator will not function. If the unit does not run, check if it is plugged in, if the power supply is on, if the "FULL WATER" indicator is flashing (and empty the water if so), and if the room temperature is within the working range. If the machine seems to do little, check for direct sunshine, open windows/doors, too many people in the room, or heat-producing objects. If the machine seems to do nothing, check for dusty/contaminated filters or blocked air intake/output. If the room temperature is below the selected temperature, the cooling system will be off. If the unit is too noisy, check if it is positioned unevenly or if the floor underneath is uneven. If the compressor doesn't run, it might be due to overheat protection; wait for the temperature to drop. Users are explicitly warned not to attempt to repair or dismantle the machine themselves.
