9.10 Thechargercanbecomehotinuse.Forthisreasonitmustbeusedina
dry,ventilated placeand lefton a surface which is non‐flammable and
non‐insulating.Donotleavethechargeronsoftsurfaces.
9.11 Neverleavethemotorcyclewithadepletedbatteryasthiscancausethe
batteryvoltagetodipbelowminimumandrequirereplacement.
9.12 Usingthemotorcyclewithadepletedbatterywillshortenthelifeofthe
batteryandcanmakethebatteryinoperable(requiringreplacement).
9.13 Donotattempttomodifyordisassemblethebattery,orperformany
diagnostics. This is extremely dangerous and can result in fire and
explosion.
9.14 Donotchargethemotorcyclewiththeignitionturnedon.
9.15 The operationaltemperature rangefor thebattery is0°C to 40°C.The
temperature range for charging the battery is 0°C to 30°C. The
temperaturerangeforstorageofthebatteryis0°Cto30°C,ambient
humidity≤65%RH.Usingthemotorcycleorchargingorstoringthebattery
outside of the stated ranges will damage the battery. If the ambient
temperatureisoutsidethestatedrangeforoperationorcharging,move
the motorcycle to a place where it will cool / warm and do not use or
chargeuntilthemotorcycletemperatureiswithinthestatedrange.
