10.1 Only use the original charger and cables supplied with the motorcycle.
Useofotherchargersorcablesisdangerous.Replacefusesinthecharger
plugwiththesametype.
10.2 Onlyoncethechargerisconnectedtothemotorcycle,plugthecharger
intoa13Aoutlet.
10.3 Donotplugtheotherendintothe13Aoutletuntilthechargingcableis
connectedtothemotorcycle.
10.4 Thebatterylightsindicatethelevelofchargeinthebattery.
10.5 Noadaptationshouldberequiredtodomesticwiringalthoughensurethat
miniaturecircuitbreakers(MCBs)arefittedatthedistributionbox.Ifin
doubt,askanelectrician.
10.6 Thebatteryshouldbestoredinaclean,dry,ventilatedspace.Keepthe
motorcycleandbatteryoutsideresidential buildings and away from
corrosivesubstances,fireandheatsources.
10.7 Neverchargethemotorcycleinthewet,orindampconditions.Never
leaveextensioncablesoutsideorontheground.Usinganyelectrical
appliance(including your motorcyclecharger) inthe wetis extremely
dangerousandcanleadtoseriousinjuryordeath.
10.8 Ifthemotorcycleisinvolvedinanaccident,andthebatterybox is
compromised,thereisaverysmallriskoffireandexplosion.Thebattery
boxislocatedunderneaththemotorcycleseat.
10.9 Ifthemotorcyclebecomeshottothetouch,startssmokingorgivesoffa
strangesmellyoushouldstopridingandmovetoasafedistancefromthe
motorcyclebeforecallingemergencyservices.Informemergencyservices
thatthemotorcycleuseslithiumionbatteries.
11. Vehiclemaintenance
11.1 You should clean your motorcycle regularly, using products specifically
designedformotorcycles.Donotuseroughorabrasivecleaningproducts
astheywilldamagethefinish.
