Usage Features

Initial Use and Charging: Before first use or after long-term non-use, fully charge the clippers. Use a power adapter with an input voltage not higher than 5V 1A for charging.

Operation: The clipper operates in a first gear with a motor speed of 6800rpm and has a soft start function.

LED Display Indicators:

  • Blue light (long-lighted): Indicates the clipper is working.
  • Red light (flashing): Indicates 10% power remaining.
  • Red light (long-lighted during charging): Indicates the device is charging.
  • Red light (off) and Blue light (on): Indicates charging is complete.
  • Red and blue lights (flashing alternately): Indicates blocking protection or high-voltage charging protection is active.

Blocking Protection: The clipper automatically shuts down if the current reaches 3A for 3 seconds. If this occurs, immediately shut down the clipper and check for the cause of the blockage.

Charging High-Voltage Protection: If the input voltage exceeds 6.5V, charging will stop. Replace the charging plug with one that has an input voltage not higher than 6.5V.

Guide Comb Installation: To install, align the top of the guide comb with the blade head and snap the bottom into place. To disassemble, pull the bottom of the guide comb apart and then remove it.

Taper Adjustment: The tapered rod on the hair clipper controls the hair length, adjustable from 0.5mm to 2mm.

  • Push the taper rod down for longer hair length.
  • Push the taper rod up for shorter hair length.

Blade Alignment: If blades are not aligned (e.g., after cleaning or replacement), follow these steps:

  1. Match the teeth of the fixed and moving blades point for point. The end of the moving blade teeth should be approximately 0.5-1.0mm lower than the fixed blade.
  2. If not aligned, add a few drops of oil, turn the clippers on for a few moments, then turn off and unplug.
  3. Loosen screws slightly and adjust blades until aligned.
  4. Tighten screws to secure blades. The top edge of the fixed blade should be at least 1/32" (1mm) higher than the top edge of the moving blade and as centered as possible to prevent cutting too close or pinching the skin.

Blade Removal and Reassembly: If there is excessive noise or blades need replacement:

  1. Turn off the clipper and adjust the taper.
  2. Disassemble the screws and the fixed blade, keeping the screws.
  3. Disassemble the small moving blade on the plastic shaker and replace it with a new one.
  4. Assemble and secure the fixed blade with the screws lightly. Ensure the end of the moving blade teeth is about 1/32" (1mm) to 1/16" (1.5mm) lower than the fixed blade, centered and parallel.
  5. Add a few drops of oil to the blades before running and tighten the screws.

Adjusting Blades on the Hair Trimmer:

  1. Unscrew the two small screws on the fixed blade.
  2. Adjust the distance between moving and fixed blades with fingers until the moving blade is flush or slightly below the fixed blade.
  3. Ensure blades are properly aligned, with moving blade teeth about 1mm below the top edge of the fixed blade ruler.
  4. Ensure the moving blade does not extend beyond the fixed blade.
  5. Gently tighten the two screws of the fixed blade after adjustment. Repeat if not satisfied after testing.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning: Clean the clippers after each use for optimum performance.

  1. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove residual hair from the blades.
  2. Remove guide combs and clean them under running water. Ensure they are thoroughly dry before storage.
  3. Oil the blades after each use for optimum cutting performance. Important: Blades must be cleaned and oiled regularly to function properly; failure to do so will void the warranty. The clippers are not fully waterproof; do not rinse blades under running water.

Oiling: For better cutting performance, keep the blade oiled after each use.

  1. Unscrew the oil bottle cap and cut the end of the plastic tube with scissors.
  2. Remove the blade cover and turn on the clipper.
  3. Hold the clipper at a 45-degree angle, squeeze the tubing lightly, and drip oil directly onto the blades.
  4. Leave the clipper on for a few seconds to spread the oil.
  5. Turn off the clipper and wipe excess oil with a cloth before use. Important: It is recommended to replace the blade head once a year for better cutting performance.

Troubleshooting:

  • Not cutting/pulling hair: Blade is dull, replace blade head regularly.
  • Rusted blade: Clean with brush, oil after cleaning, do not rinse under running water. Replace blade head regularly if used for a long time.
  • Getting hurt: Do not forcefully cut hair against skin; use gently. Ensure moving blade teeth are about 1mm lower than fixed blade's upper edge during installation/adjustment.
  • Unable to charge/flashing "El" on screen: Input voltage of adapter is too high. Use a 5V 1A adapter and included cable.
  • Cannot turn on after use: Clippers are not waterproof, do not wash body under water. Hair may be stuck on blade head, triggering stall protection. Remove blade head to clean hair.
  • Loud noise: Confirm screws are tightened. Loud noise after prolonged use may be due to hair stuck on blade head. Remove blade head to clean.
  • Abnormally high blade heat: Follow maintenance tutorial to drip oil before and after use.
  • Blades not aligned on receipt: Products are oiled and aligned before leaving factory, but impact may cause misalignment. Realign blades if removed for cleaning or replacement.
