The cylinder rod on your Surge master Log Splitter might be moving slowly or not at all due to several reasons: * There may be no pressurized hydraulic oil because the oil filter is plugged (change the filter) or the hydraulic oil level is low (top it up). * Wood may be jammed around the wedge. If this is the case, shut the machine off and safely remove the wood. * The engine speed may be low. Ensure that the choke is off and the throttle is set to maximum. * There might not be enough pressure. In this case, you should call a technician because the system relief setting may be low (below 2750 psi).
