Remove the Ultra Filter Pre-Filter from Water Inlet Hose
and clean the
Ultra Filter Pre-Filter Outlet Tip with
vinegar or a clean wet paper towel.
Place
Water Inlet Hose in clean, fresh water. If on the go
you can use the treated water that has been filtered by
the Survivor Filter PRO X.
Place Survivor Filter PRO X on a firm, flat base.
In preparation for backwashing, turn on the filter for 5 seconds
to prime the internal system with water and to remove air.
Connect the
Ultra Filter Pre-Filter to the Water Outlet Hose.
Turn on the PRO X, allowing water to flow into the Ultra
Filter Pre-Filter
, flushing out any blockages or small debris.
Backwash up to 100,000 liters using the same process.

The Survivor Filter PRO X is intended for use with fresh
water sources only.
DO NOT USE IN SALT WATER.
How long will two AA baeries last?
How oen should I replace the filters?
Can I filter salt water?
Under normal conditions, the Survivor Filter PRO X can
filter up to 100,000 liters, guaranteed. If the water to be
filtered is heavily contaminated or full of silt, the filters
may need to be removed, and/or replaced sooner.
Clean/backwash or replace the
Ultra Filter Pre-Filter as
needed if pumping becomes difficult or water flow is
reduced from normal.
If the flow rate is still reduced after you have cleaned
and backwashed your PRO X, you will know that it is time
to replace the
Carbon Filter.
Depending on the quality of the water being filtered, the
batteries should last 6-8 hours.
