3 Filter Components Provide Triple Filtration
The Carbon Filter provides the second line of defense
to remove heavy metals, residual pesticides, organic
materials and odors from incoming water. The Carbon
Filter clips into the bottom of the Ultra Filter. Both
the Carbon Filter and the Ultra Filter sit within the
Housing during normal operation. The Carbon Filter
can be reused up to 2,000 liters (528 gallons).
Component #2 - The Carbon Filter
Since the Carbon Filter absorbs and holds contaminants
within its fibers, it cannot be cleaned and must be
replaced after regular use.
Also replace the Carbon Filter if you notice that the
filtered water has a bad taste or odor.
