Removal
1) Remove the right inner fender. Refer to “Front Side
Exterior Parts Removal and Installation in Section
9D in related manual”.
2) Remove the right mud guard. Refer to “Rear Side
Exterior Parts Removal and Installation in Section
9D in related manual”.
3) Remove the rear brake light switch spring (1).
4) Disconnect the rear brake cable (2). Refer to “Rear
Brake Cable Removal and Installation in related
manual”.

1. Rear brake pedal 6. Rear brake pedal screw “B”: Anchoring point (Pedal side)
2. Rear brake light switch “a”: 12.5 – 22.5 mm (0.49 – 0.89 in) : 60 N⋅m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft)
3. Washer “b”: 83.2 mm (3.28 in) : 4.5 N⋅m (0.45 kgf-m, 3.0 lbf-ft)
4. Rear brake pedal shaft “c”: 17.5 mm (0.69 in) : Apply water resistance grease.
5. Rear brake pedal shaft nut “A”: Anchoring point (Footrest side)
