Steer instead of lean; corner slowly to adapt. Be mindful of outrigger wheels impacting objects.
Use front and rear brakes in tandem for increased stopping power in trike configuration.
Use screw jacks solely for upright support and leveling; do not lift the motorcycle. Ensure stability.
InstaTrike is designed for paved surfaces; use on unpaved terrain may void the warranty.
Attach trailer hitch loosely, tighten all bolts after placement. Periodically check all bolts for tightness.
Review manual, install hitch, assemble cart, attach to motorcycle, align wheels, and perform a test ride.
Attach brackets A/B to motorcycle, C/D to fender, and E/F to brackets C/D for receiver hitch.
Attach rear arms and hitch plate, ensuring the hitch is straight before tightening all bolts.
Assemble axles/wheels, insert hitch mount into receiver, secure with pin and tension bolt.
Bolt leanstop braces, remove jacks, check bolts for tightness, and prepare for the test ride.
Insert bolts from bottom for leanstop brace attachment. Adjust washers/spacers for proper motorcycle leveling.
Adjuster customizes ride/handling. Shortening raises wheels (softer ride); lengthening lowers (firmer ride).
Loosen jam nuts, adjust flange/hex nuts, then retighten all nuts and bolts securely.
Periodically check all bolts/nuts for tightness and ensure the motorcycle remains level after adjustments.
Measure A/B distances, align wheels to within 1/16 inch, tighten axle bolts to 45 lbs. Repeat for C/D.
Kit bolts are for stock motorcycles; alternate bolts may be needed for aftermarket accessories like saddle bags.
