The extended guarantee covers the following:
• The entire mechanism, including the aluminium
frame andlegs
• All electronics, such as the remote control, light,
cables and transformer (power supply)
• The cover and other textiles
The extended guarantee does not cover:
• Wear to the over mattress. We recommend that this is
changed every 5–7 years
• The batteries for lowering the bed in the event of a power cut
• The batteries in the remote control

and against spring breakage
The Sale of Goods Act otherwise applies. However, please note
that a guarantee only applies to manufacturing defects.
Evenwith the best, first-class raw materials, long-term use
will result in a gradual reduction in overall comfort. For the
sake of your health, we recommend that the mattress should
generally be changed around every 15 years.

has been carefully designed to fit the
human body's shape and need for support.If after some time
the mattress shows signs of the body's imprint, there's no need
to worry. This "setting" is completely natural and shows that
the mattress is functioning as it should.
Adaptation
It can take a little time before the body adapts to a new
mattress, and a little back fatigue is not unusual at first.
Thepreferred sleeping position may also change with a new
mattress. The reason for this is that the body's muscles and
tendons adapt to the new surface. The body gets used to the
new conditions, but it is not unusual for this process to take
2-3months.
Construction and mechanism
Svane
®
Zesam features a solid construction with a powerful
motor and mechanism. The frame is made from specially
constructed aluminium. The patented mechanism is created
from steel tubing and features advanced self-adjustment.
The motor is equipped with a memory that logs all loads,
running time, temperature, input/output voltage and power, etc.

Zesam's special construction means that it moves with
the user, and the interaction between the slat system and the
IntelliGel
®
inlay takes comfort to a whole new level, both when
sitting and lying down.
Important considerations when using Svane
®
Zesam:
• The max. weight for users of the bed is 150 kg
• The max. load for the foot end of the bed is 150 kg
(applies to both flat and elevated positions)
The bed is not designed for sitting on the head end, and
this end must not be loaded with over 40 kg (at the very end)
in the elevated position
• The motor must not be run continuously for over 2 minutes
and has a recommended max. interval of 10% running /
90% rest
• Prevent children from playing on the bed. Children shall
not use the bed without supervision
• The bed must not be overloaded, and the guarantee only
applies to normal use
Washing and cleaning
The mattress cover is removable and can be washed.
The over mattress can be washed in its entirety.
