SWAG V4.0 - Blade Guard Operation; Saw Installation into Table; Blade Alignment Procedure

4) Blade Guard:
Push the button on the side of the blade guard (red arrow shown above) to extend the
guard in the in the farthest outward position as shown in the 2
nd
picture above.
5) Saw Installation:
Install the saw into the portaband table, so the table slides into the air vent of the saw.
Then install the provided 5/16” washer on to the thumb knob. Hand tighten the thumb
knob from the bottom of the table so it goes through the middle of the blade guard.
6) Blade Alignment:
Using the supplied 5/32” hex key,
tighten the set screw down until the
blade is perpendicular to the top
working surface of the portaband
table.
Note: If the set screw sticks up past
the top of the table, it will need to be
removed then the bottom of screw
will need to be ground down and
reinstalled.
