Usage Features:
- Assembly: The device requires some assembly, including attaching the mid-section to the base unit, inserting the handle, and securing it with screws. The cord holder needs to be twisted upwards, and the clean water tank is then inserted. A cross-head screwdriver is needed for assembly.
- Carpet Preparation: Before using the carpet washer, it is crucial to thoroughly vacuum the carpet or upholstered furniture. Any large furniture items should be removed or protected with plastic film. A colorfastness test is recommended on an inconspicuous spot using the cleaning solution to ensure no discoloration occurs.
- Filling the Clean Water Tank: Only the cleaning agent supplied with the device or standard carpet cleaning products specifically designed for carpet cleaners should be used. Foaming cleaning products should be avoided as they can impede the device's function. To fill, the clean water tank is removed by pressing the release button. The measuring cap on the underside of the tank is unscrewed, and water is added first, followed by the cleaning solution (50ml of solution to 500ml of water, a 10:1 ratio). The tank should be shaken slightly to mix the solution and not filled beyond the MAX level. Water above 40 degrees Celsius should not be used.
- Operation: The device is plugged into an electrical outlet and turned on using the on/off switch. To begin cleaning, the handle release pedal is stepped on to put the machine into the cleaning position. While depressing the solution spray trigger, the carpet washer is pulled backward. Releasing the trigger and pushing the unit forward in the same path will agitate and remove dirty water and solution. For best results, a slow, steady forward and backward motion is recommended, working from back to front across the room to avoid stepping on wet carpet.
- Dirty Water Tank: The dirty water tank should be emptied when full. To do this, the latch is lifted, and the tank is removed using its handle. The outlet cap is twisted to the left, the tank is emptied, rinsed, and then replaced.
- Safety Precautions:
- The device should not be used to suck up glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, inflammable or explosive substances, very fine dust (e.g., concrete dust, toner, sand), or pointed, hard objects like broken glass.
- It is for indoor use only and should be connected to a properly installed and readily accessible plug socket. The mains voltage must match the device's technical data.
- Never immerse the device, mains cable, or plug in water or other liquids. If it falls into water, immediately switch off the power supply and do not attempt to retrieve it while connected.

- Never fill water containers beyond the maximum level.
- After use, place the device on a cloth as residual water may escape from the nozzles.

Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning After Use: After cleaning, the dirty water tank should be removed, rinsed with warm water, and allowed to dry before storage. The filter should also be removed, rinsed with warm water, and allowed to dry.
- Storage: Do not store the cleaner with solution in the clean water tank or dirty water in the dirty water tank, as mineral deposits and mildew can form, affecting performance.
