Swann NVW-470 Firmware update guide
This guide will help you install the latest firmware update to your NVW-470 system.
This new firmware will have a new interface system and features to improve the user experience and
performance of the system.
Please make sure you have the following items:
1. NVW-470 unit and power supply
2. Mini-USB cable (supplied with kit)
3. FAT32-formatted USB flash drive or memory stick (8GB max size) that has the correct firmware file
installed ( you can purchase at most stores )
Unplug the camera(s) from power to preserve the camera WiFi settings. If you leave the camera(s)
connected, you have to sync the cameras to the main unit again after the firmware update is finished.
Plug the USB flash drive/memory stick to the supplied mini-USB cable. Then, connect it to the USB port at
the back of the NVW-470 unit.
Press the Menu button on the front of the NVR unit and tap on the Home button to open the menu screen.
