This document describes the Swan Stealth Smart Grill, model SP22140BLKN, a versatile electric grill designed for household use.
The Swan Stealth Smart Grill is an electric grill that offers two primary modes of operation: Smart Mode (closed grill) and Griddle Mode (manual).
In Smart Mode, the grill automatically detects the thickness of the food and adjusts cooking time accordingly. Users can select from various presets for different food types, including Defrost, Bacon, Chicken, Ham, Steak, Fish, and Burger. The grill preheats and then guides the user through the cooking process with status bar lights indicating stages from PRE-HEATING to WELL DONE. For beef, it provides beeps for RARE, MEDIUM, and WELL DONE doneness levels. For other modes, it beeps only at WELL DONE. The cooking process stops automatically when the grill is opened. If no food is placed after preheating in Smart Mode, the appliance will automatically switch off after a few minutes.
In Griddle Mode, the appliance can be fully opened to a 180° flat position, transforming into a griddle. This mode is manual, meaning users must select the 'M' (manual) program. The grill will preheat to a set temperature, and then food can be added. Smart Mode features are not available when operating as a griddle.
The grill is designed for ease of use with an LED display and a control dial for selecting settings. It features upper and lower cooking plates, which are removable for cleaning, and a drip tray set to collect excess oil.
Appliances bearing the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol should not be disposed of with domestic rubbish. Old electrical and electronic appliances must be disposed of separately. Users are advised to visit www.recycle-more.co.uk or www.recyclenow.co.uk (for the UK) or www.weeeireland.ie (for Ireland) for information on recycling electrical items. The WEEE directive (August 2006) mandates that all electrical items be recycled rather than landfilled. Arrange to take the appliance to a local Civic Amenity site for recycling at the end of its life.
