  There are several reasons why the brush might slow down or stop: * The idler may not be engaging, in this case you should adjust the turnbuckle. * The air filter could be clogged, so you should change or clean it. * Your travel speed may be too fast - travel no more than 5 mph while sweeping (1-3 mph is recommended). * You might be trying to sweep too much material at once; try making several passes with the sweeper.
