Splash Drone Remote Controller Safety Guide
1. Obey relevant regulations of the International Civil Aviation
Organization and local airspace control law and UAV management
rules. Forbid flying in any no-fly zones.
2. When flying the Splash Drone always keep it in an open area
without buildings, trees and obstacles.
3. Keep 3-5 meters away from you and others. Do not operate close
to crowds.
4. Before flight need calibrate the aircraft and Remote Controller
5. If detect abnormal operation while using the Splash Drone and/or
remote controller please stop using immediately
6. Before flight, ensure the propllers are installed in correct direction
and firmly on motor
7. Do not attempt to touch the motor until motors stop rotating .
8. If use WiFi Sport camera with aircraft. please disable WiFi function
before flight. Wifi should not be used in the area of flying.
9. If aircraft has low battery, land immediately to avoid damage.
10. Do not move aircraft for 6-10 seconds after powering on aircraft.
11.If loss of radio signal occours, aircraft will enter into Auto Return
Home mode automatically ; If signal is received again, please switch
to GPS mode control aircraft.
Forbidden flight conditions:
a. Forbid flying nearby strong radio interference activity areas.
b. Forbid flying nearby any crowds.
c. Forbid flying around strong magnetic fields
d. Forbid flying when you are tired or affected by alcohol.
e. Forbid flying when remote controllor can not control aircraft due
to any other reasons

3.1. Calibration
Open the battery hatch cover, insert the battery JST cable into
power socket of Radio controller. (Radio controller won’t burnt even
if getting a reverse wire connection. Please correctly operate,
otherwise it can’t be powered on.)

Attention: During returning and descending, drone nose &
aileron joystick are controllable for a better landing location, Throttle
is unavailable under Auto Return-Home mode.
Calibration is necessary in below cases:
a. Use the drone for the first time.
b. After violent flight in ATTI Mode.
c. Push up THROTTLE joystick, and no moving the right AILERON
joystick, the drone drift with certain angle in ATTI Mode.
d. Got heavy shake during transportation.
e. After a completed compass calibration as well as unlock the
motors successfully, however the LED still keep solid red when trying
to start up motors.
Note: Recommend to do compass calibration in the fly area before
flying. Flying within any magnetic interference is HIGHLY
DISCOURAGED. (Please DO make sure to keep far away from
High-voltage transmission power lines, Emitting base stations, metal
object, etc.)
a. Left Joystick is for Throttle and Nose direction
b. Right Joystick is for aileron control, pitch to forward/backward,
roll to left/right.

1.2.1 Flight Mode Introduction
1.1. Using Radio controller
Attention: All calibrations SHALL be done based on
LOCKING status WITHOUT propellers.
Calibration Steps:
Remark: 18,19,20,21,25,26 are spare buttons for extra usage if any.
The default Throttle control is American Mode (Left Joystick), Right
throttle (Japanese Mode) is available.

a. Flying drone for the first time.
b. 100KM away from last compass calibration location.
c. The drone has been crashed/dropped by accident.
d. The drone keeps swaying / drifting during flight.
e. Heavy shake occurred during transportation.
f . RED Light stays on, and motors can’t be unlocked.
Calibration is necessary in below cases:
2. Pull left joystick to right-lowest 45°, push right joystick to
right-highest 45°as below picture:
3. Keep above gesture for 2s till light turns into flashing RED, the
drone enters into calibration process. Wait till the light quit flashing
to blink RED slowly, release the joysticks. Then the accelerometer
calibration is finished.
1. Turn on Radio controller, then power on drone, wait till the
self-checking is completed, then flip SWB to SWB2 (Return-Home)
position.
