GENERAL INFORMATION
Thecentralvacuumcleanerisdesignedforpick-upofnormal
household dust and dirt. Avoid picking up hard or sharp objects
to prevent damage on hose and pipe work or plugging of hose
or pipe runs.
Thismanualwillcoverthenalstepsofinstallationofthe
powerunit.Itwillalsoprovidethenecessaryinformationfor
maintenanceandtroubleshootingintheunlikelyeventthatitwill
be needed.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
This central vacuum cleaner is provided with apx. 2,5 m cable
andplugforconnectiontoearthedoutletwithnecessary
capacity.Makesurethatelectricalinstallationismadein
accordance with local regulations and ordinances.
WARNING
Incorrectconnectionoftheequipment/conductorcanresultin
electricalshock.Contactanauthorizedinstallerifyouarein
doubtastoweathertheoutletisproperlyearthedoriftheplug
doesnottintoanoutlet.Donotmodifytheplugprovidedwith
the appliance.

Iftheprovidedcableisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbya
specialcableavailablefromyourlocalsupplier.

INSTALLATION
This central vacuum cleaner is designed for connection to pipe
systemwithwalloutlets(seeseparateinstallationinstructions
forthepipesystem).
Thepowerunitisrecommendedinstalledinstoreroom,laundry
room, basement, garage or similar. Ensure that it is accessible
forinspection/serviceandforchangingofbaglter/emptyingof
dust canister.
CAUTION
Use caution when drilling holes in walls where gas pipelines,
waterpipesandelectricalwiresmaybepresent.Usescrews/
anchors suitable for the actual wall where the power unit is to
betted.Themountingbracketistobeinstalledhorizontallyto
allow the power unit to be mounted from optional left or right
siderespectively.Assurethattheunitclicksintoplaceonthe
bracket.

When choosing place of installation, make sure to allow for
necessaryspaceforconnectiontopipesystemandtobeable
to slide the power unit onto the mounting bracket (X = min. 150
mm).

Connectthelowvoltagecablesfromthewallinletstothe
spring-loadedlowvoltageplugs/points.

The exhaust air from the power unit is lead out of the building
viaexhaustadapter.Exhaustpipecaneasilybetted,and
should be as short as possible.

If the exhaust pipe exceeds 5,0 m, increase of the pipe
dimension is recommended. Model V30 has silencer integrated,
andseparatesilencerontheexhaustpipeisthereforenormally
notnecessary.

Connectthepipesystemtooptionalconnectoronthepower
unit.
Note! Do not use glue!.
WARNING
Do not locate the power unit in a high temperature or in a place
where it is inaccessible, e.g. loft space etc.
If it is not possible to lead the exhaust air out of the building, a
”TrueHEPA-lter”canbeinstalled.

DUST BAG ADAPTER
Thepowerunitisequippedwithaself-cleaninglterandcan
operatebothwithcyclonicdustseparation,directlyintothe
canister, or separation with dust bag mounted. The dust bag
allowsforahygienicemptyingofdustanddirt,andistherefore
recommended.Whenusingbaglter,adaptermustbemounted
(pipe and 90o bend). Insert pipe from the outside of the canister
andxbendonpipefromtheinside.
