EXTRA INLET VALVE
TheprovidedinletvalvecanbeinstalleddirectlyinT-pieceon
pipesystemclosetothepowerunit.
Ifcyclonicseparationischosen,theinletvalvecanalternatively
bemounteddirectlyintothefreesuctionconnectoronthepower
unit.
NOTE! Ifyouchoosenottomountthisvalveonthepower
unit, the provided plug must be used to blind the free
suction connector.

SYSTEM TEST
After electrical connection, check the following:
• Thatdustcanister,lter,baglter(ifapplied)arecorrectly
installed.
• InsertthehoseintoallinletvalvesandcheckthatOFF/ON
(2 steps) functions are working.
• Checkpipesystemandinletvalvesforpossibleairleakage.

USE
Thecentralvacuumsystemiscontrolledfromaswitchonthe
hose/handle. Insert the hose into the inlet valve and turn the
switchtotheONposition,2steps(60%and100%capacity).
Turn the switch to OFF position to stop the unit. The unit should
be stopped beforeyouunplugthehosefromtheinletvalve.

LED INDICATORS
YourpowerunitisequippedwithamulticolorLED-panel.This
willprovideyouwithnecessaryinformationonyourpowerunit’s
performance, maintenance and diagnostics. Messages in the
LED-panelaredescribedbelow
ModelV20isonlyequippedwithOFF/ONLED-indicator.
ModelV30isequippedwithindicatorforOFF/ON,motorfault,
full dust canister and reset.
WhenthecentralvacuumunitisOFF,andinstandbymode,the
OFF/ON indicator will give a constant RED light. When the unit
is ON, and in use, this light will be GREEN.
ALARMS
V20
1. Motor fault: OFF/ON indicator gives a constant GREEN
light.
2. Shutdownduetoovervoltage:OFF/ONindicatorashing
RED,andGREENindicatorashesatahighspeed.
Automatic reset will occur after 15 sec. if switch on the
handle is in OFF position.
3. Ifovervoltageoccursrepeatedly,whiletheswitchonthe
handle is in ON position: OFF/ON indicator will give a
constantREDlightwhileGREENlampashesslowly.
4. Unevenvoltagesupply:Thecentralvacuumcleanerdoes
not start, OFF/ON indicator lights RED.
5. Voltage is to high: OFF/ON indicator alternate between
RED and GREEN light 3 times – short pause – alternate
betweenREDandGREEN3times-longpause.Thiswillbe
repeated until the voltage is back to normal.
V30

MAINTENANCE
Reducedairoworsuctionindicatesmalfunction.Ifthebag
lter/dustcanisterisfull,orthelterisclogged,theairow/
suctionwillbereducedandthequalityofvacuumingless
efcient.Regularchangeofbaglter/emptyingofcanisteris
thereforeimportanttomaintainyourvacuumsystem’sfunction
andefciency.
Normallychangeofbaglter/emptyingofdustcanister2-3
timesayearshouldbesufcient.Releasethedustcanisterby
pressingthepush-buttonsonthecanister’shandles,andthen:
• Releasethebaglterfromtheadapter.
• Placeandpressthenewbaglterontotheadapter.
• Remountthedustcanisterbypressingthepush-buttonsand
pullthecanisterontothexingbrackets..
Ifcyclonicseparationischosen(andnobaglterinstalled),
emptythedustcanisterbeforecleaningthelterandremounting
the canister.
