GENERAL INFORMATION
Thecentralvacuumcleanerisdesignedforpick-upofnormal
household dust and dirt. Avoid picking up hard or sharp objects
to prevent damage on hose and pipe work or plugging of hose
or pipe runs.
Thismanualwillcoverthenalstepsofinstallationofthe
powerunit.Itwillalsoprovidethenecessaryinformationfor
maintenanceandtroubleshootingintheunlikelyeventthatitwill
be needed.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
This central vacuum cleaner is provided with apx. 2,5 m cable
andplugforconnectiontoearthedoutletwithnecessary
capacity.Makesurethatelectricalinstallationismadein
accordance with local regulations and ordinances.
WARNING
Incorrectconnectionoftheequipment/conductorcanresultin
electricalshock.Contactanauthorizedinstallerifyouarein
doubtastoweathertheoutletisproperlyearthedoriftheplug
doesnottintoanoutlet.Donotmodifytheplugprovidedwith
the appliance.

INSTALLATION
This central vacuum cleaner is designed for connection to pipe
systemwithwalloutlets(seeseparateinstallationinstructions
forthepipesystem).
Thepowerunitisrecommendedinstalledinstoreroom,laundry
room, basement, garage or similar. Ensure that it is accessible
forinspection/serviceandforchangingofbaglter/emptyingof
dust canister.
CAUTION
Use caution when drilling holes in walls where gas pipelines,
waterpipesandelectricalwiresmaybepresent.Usescrews/
anchors suitable for the actual wall where the power unit is to
betted.Themountingbracketistobeinstalledhorizontallyto
allow the power unit to be mounted from optional left or right
siderespectively.Assurethattheunitclicksintoplaceonthe
bracket.

When choosing place of installation, make sure to allow for
necessaryspaceforconnectiontopipesystemandtobeable
to slide the power unit onto the mounting bracket (X = min. 150
mm).

Connectthelowvoltagecablesfromthewallinletstothe
spring-loadedlowvoltageplugs/points.

The exhaust air from the power unit is lead out of the building
viaexhaustadapter.Exhaustpipecaneasilybetted,and
should be as short as possible.

If the exhaust pipe exceeds 5,0 m, increase of the pipe
dimension is recommended. Model V30 has silencer integrated,
andseparatesilencerontheexhaustpipeisthereforenormally
notnecessary.

Note! Do not use glue!.
WARNING
Do not locate the power unit in a high temperature or in a place
where it is inaccessible, e.g. loft space etc.
If it is not possible to lead the exhaust air out of the building, a
”TrueHEPA-lter”canbeinstalled.

DUST BAG ADAPTER
Thepowerunitisequippedwithaself-cleaninglterandcan
operatebothwithcyclonicdustseparation,directlyintothe
canister, or separation with dust bag mounted. The dust bag
allowsforahygienicemptyingofdustanddirt,andistherefore
recommended.Whenusingbaglter,adaptermustbemounted
(pipe and 90o bend). Insert pipe from the outside of the canister
andxbendonpipefromtheinside.
