Before using for the first time
Inserting the bread
• Unpack the appliance and remove any labels.
• Read the manual and carefully follow the instructions.
• Unwind the supply cord completely.
• Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp sponge. Dry
thoroughly.
• Plug in the toaster.
• Without inserting any bread select the minimum browning
level.
• Press the bread loading lever down.
• Turn on the appliance 3 or 4 times while empty. This will
remove any “new” odors from the toaster.
• Open a window.
• With the bread lever in the high position, place a slice of bread
in each slot.
