The TAMRON ADAPTALL -2 Custom
Mount attaches simply and securely to your
TAMRON Lens becoming in eftect an
integral p art of the lens. With the Tamron
ADAPTALL-2 Cu stom Mount S ystem, your
lens can be used with virtua lly all the
most popu lar SLR cameras by attaching
the appropriate mount .
HOW TO ATTACH THE MOUNT
TO THE LENS
A. Be sure to set the aperture ring of the
lens to the maximum aperture .
B.
A lign the green dot on the base of
the lens with the green dot on the
ADAPTALL ·2 Mount .
C. Pre ss the moun t downward and turn
clockwise until the mount is loc ked
into place (while turn i ng, the silver
release
button w ill slowly depress and
then
w ill op en and el ick when the
mount locks into position) .
D.
Slide the coupling key of the mou nt
i nto the match ing slot of the lens aper·
ture ring. Somet imes the coupl ing key
will sl ide into the ma tc hing slot aher
step C and therefore this step may not
be necessary.
NOTE : Some mount s have two coupling
keys. If the cu stom mount you
own has two coupling keys, be
sure
to engage the two keys i nto
matching slots on the lens aper·
ture ring.

custom mount can be fitted to your
camera in the same manner as the
camera manufacturer's lenses.
TO REMOVE THE MOUNT FROM
THE LENS
A. Before removing the custom mount,
be s ure to mov e the aperture ring of
the le ns to the max im um aperture.
NOTE : If your custom mou nt has AE
lock mechanism and whose aper·
ture ring is set to the AE po sit ion ,
depr ess the AE lock button to
release the AE setting, and then
move the ring to the maximum
aperture.
B. Hold your lens securely and while
depressing the silver release button,
turn the mount counterclockwise.
C. Lift the mou nt from the len s.

MONTAGE DE LA BAGUE SUR
L'OBJECTlF
A . Verif ier qu e la bague des d ia phragmes
de I'object if est bien reglee sur I' ou'
verture max imale.
B. Placer le point vert se tro uvant il la base
de votre object if en face du po int vert
de la bague ADAP T ALL ·2.
C.
Appuyer de haut en bas sur la bague en
la tou r nant en se ns des aiguilles d' une
mont re jusqu'a ce qu 'elle se trouve
verrouillee en position . (Durant la
rotatio n le bouton argente de dever-
rouillage va s'abaisser lentement puis
ressortir avec encliquetage lorsque la
bague est verrouillee en posi tion)
D. I ntrodu ire la cle de couplage de la
bague il I' interieur de la fente cor respon-
dante de la bague des diaph ragmes.
II arrive quelquefois que la clEi de cou·
pl a ge entre a I 'i nte ri eur de la fente
correspondante apres la phase C du
montage et par consequent la phase
D n'est
plus necessaire.
NOTA : Certaines montures sont munies de
deux eles de coup l age . Si c'est
le cas de la bague que vous po s·
sedez vei ller a ce que les deux
eles penetrent b ien dans l es fentes
correspondantes de la bague des
diaphragmes .

DEMONTAGE DE LA BAGUE SUR
L'OBJECTIF
A . Pour demonter la bague commencer
par tourner la bague des d ia phragmes
pour la regler sur I' ouverture maximale.
NOTA : Si votre bague est mun ie du me ·
canisme de verrouil l age AE et que
la bague des d iaphragmes est
egalement reglee sur AE , appuyer
d 'a bo rd sur le bou ton de verr ou il·
lage
pou r liberer le mecanisme AE
et tourner ensuite la bague des
d
ia phragmes sur I'ouverture maxi -
male.
B. Mainten ir fermement I'objectif, appuyer
sur le bouton argente de deb rayage et
to urner la bague en sens contra ire
des
aiguilles d' une mont re.
C. Enlever la bague de I'object i f.
NOTA : Les bagues ADAPTALL -2 sont
pnivues po ur ut ili sat ion exclusive
avec les object i fs TAMRON SP-
et ADAPTALL ·2.

How to Attach Tamron Adaptall-2 Mount to Lens

Set Aperture Ring to Maximum

Ensure the lens aperture ring is set to its widest opening before attaching the mount.

Align Mount and Lens Dots

Match the green dots on the lens base and the Adaptall-2 mount for correct alignment.

Press the mount down and turn clockwise until it locks securely.

Engage Coupling Key

How to Remove Tamron Adaptall-2 Mount from Lens

Set Aperture Ring to Maximum

Before removal, set the lens aperture ring to the maximum aperture.

Release Mount and Turn Counterclockwise

Depress the release button and turn the mount counterclockwise to unlock.

Lift Mount from Lens

Carefully lift the Adaptall-2 mount off the lens.

Special Instructions for Konica AR Mount

Loosen Locking Screws

Loosen the two locking screws on the rear of the mount counterclockwise.

Align Index with f Value

Slide the knob to align the index with the corresponding f value.

Tighten Locking Screws Firmly

Firmly tighten the two locking screws with a coin.

Special Instructions for Leica R4;R4 S;R4 S II Mount

Compatibility with Leica R4 Series

Adaptall custom mount designed for Leica R4 series cameras only.

Minimum Aperture Limitation

Maximum working aperture is F/22 on Leica R4/R4S cameras.

AE Position for F;22

The F/22 position serves as the AE position in shutter-priority or program mode.

Lens Not Recommended for Leica R4;R4 S

Tamron 200-500mm F/6.9 lens (model 06A) should not be used with Leica R4 or R4S.

Special Instructions for Ricoh XR-P Mount

Full Compatibility with Ricoh XR-P

Adaptall-2 mount is fully compatible, retaining all 16 exposure functions.

Compatibility with Pentax-K Mount

This mount can also be used with other cameras with Pentax-K mount.

Limited Camera Modes for Slow Lenses

For lenses with F/5.6 or slower aperture, use Aperture Priority AE, Manual, etc.

Special Instructions for Pentax-KA Mount

Designed for Pentax-A Series Cameras

Tamron's Adaptall-2 Custom Mount for Pentax-KA is designed for Pentax-A series.

Minimum Aperture Limitation on Pentax-A

Minimum working aperture is F/22 on Pentax-A series cameras.

Avoid Underexposure in Program;Shutter-Priority AE

Use Aperture-priority AE or Manual modes for lenses with F/4.5 or slower.
