Ensure the lens aperture ring is set to its widest opening before attaching the mount.
Match the green dots on the lens base and the Adaptall-2 mount for correct alignment.
Press the mount down and turn clockwise until it locks securely.
Slide the mount's coupling key into the lens aperture ring slot.
Fit the lens with the attached mount to your camera as usual.
Before removal, set the lens aperture ring to the maximum aperture.
Depress the release button and turn the mount counterclockwise to unlock.
Carefully lift the Adaptall-2 mount off the lens.
Loosen the two locking screws on the rear of the mount counterclockwise.
Slide the knob to align the index with the corresponding f value.
Firmly tighten the two locking screws with a coin.
Adaptall custom mount designed for Leica R4 series cameras only.
Maximum working aperture is F/22 on Leica R4/R4S cameras.
The F/22 position serves as the AE position in shutter-priority or program mode.
Tamron 200-500mm F/6.9 lens (model 06A) should not be used with Leica R4 or R4S.
Adaptall-2 mount is fully compatible, retaining all 16 exposure functions.
This mount can also be used with other cameras with Pentax-K mount.
For lenses with F/5.6 or slower aperture, use Aperture Priority AE, Manual, etc.
Tamron's Adaptall-2 Custom Mount for Pentax-KA is designed for Pentax-A series.
Minimum working aperture is F/22 on Pentax-A series cameras.
Use Aperture-priority AE or Manual modes for lenses with F/4.5 or slower.
