This document describes the TE-001 Portable Suitcase Record Player, a turntable with USB and Bluetooth reception, designed for playing vinyl records and offering various connectivity options.

Function Description:

The TE-001 is a portable suitcase-style record player that allows users to play vinyl records at multiple speeds (33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM). It features a built-in USB port for recording vinyl to WAV/MP3 format and playing back audio files from USB flash drives or TF cards. Bluetooth connectivity enables wireless streaming of music from external devices. The unit also includes an AUX-IN port for connecting other audio sources via a 3.5mm cable and RCA output for connecting to external stereo systems. It has built-in stereo speakers for direct audio playback.

  • Power ON/OFF and Volume Control: Integrated into a single knob.
  • USB/TF Playback and Recording:
    • The unit can play WAV/MP3 files from USB flash drives or TF cards.
    • To record, insert a USB flash drive or TF card (formatted in FAT/FAT32). Press and hold the "M" button for 3 seconds to start recording. The display will show "REC" and a beep sound will indicate recording. To stop, press and hold the "M" button again. Recorded files are saved in a "JL_REC" folder.
    • USB/TF card playback has priority over AUX-IN and Bluetooth connections.
  • Bluetooth Reception:
    • To activate, set the auto-stop to "ON" and short press the "M" button until the control panel shows "bt".
    • Search for "DANFI AUDIO" on your Bluetooth device. The default password is "0000".
    • Bluetooth connection has priority over AUX-IN when both are connected.
  • AUX-IN Connection:
    • Plug a 3.5mm audio input cable into the Aux In jack on the unit and the audio output/headphone output of an external device.
    • When a 3.5mm audio cable is plugged in, the unit automatically detects the input and powers ON in Aux In mode.
    • AUX-IN playback has priority over USB/TF card playback if both are connected.
  • RCA Audio Output: Connect RCA audio cables (red/white, not included) to the RCA output on the back of the turntable to send audio signals to an external stereo system.
  • Headphone Jack: For private listening.
  • LED Display: Provides visual feedback for modes and functions.
  • Controls: Includes buttons for Mode select/Record, Next track, Pause/Play, and Previous track.

Maintenance Features:

  • Needle Replacement: The stylus needle is a universal type and can be purchased on Amazon.com.
    • Removal: Gently pull down the front edge of the needle, then pull it forward and out.
    • Installation: Position the needle with its tip facing down, line up the back with the cartridge, insert the front end at a downward angle, and gently lift the front until it snaps into place.
  • Cleaning: Regularly clean vinyl records to prevent skipping.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as no power (check power adapter, outlet, power button), record skipping (check tone arm, clean records, replace needle, ensure flat surface, remove stylus protector), platter not turning (check drive belt, unplug AUX cable, reset Bluetooth mode), no sound/low sound (adjust volume, remove stylus protector, check tone arm lever, connect to external speakers), and USB recording not working (check USB format, storage space, ensure USB is not pulled out during recording, long press "M" button).
