Symptom
• The remote
control does not
work properly.
• The DVD player
does not start
playback.
• No skip function
possible.
• No or wrong
language in
subtitle.

Only one camera
angle available.
• No card found.

No picture.
• Buttons do not
work.

Parental function
is blocking the
player.
Possible Cause
• The remote control is not
pointed at DVD Player
• The remote control is too far
from the DVD Player
• The batteries in the remote
control are empty
• The batteries in the remote
control are not in the right
position
• An unplayable disc is inserted.
• The rating level is set.
• Dirty/Scratched DVD/CD
• DVD-Audio (24bit/96Kbit) or
SAC-CD.
• DIVX DVD (Version 6.x or
greater)
• DVD-RW is not finalized
• DVD/VCD/CD have not
chapter/index or blocked
• Subtitle setup is not right
• DVD has only one camera angle
• Memory card is not in the right
slot
• File that is not palyable was
stored.

Forgot parental password
Correction
• Point the remote control to the
remote sensor on DVD-Player
• Operate the remote control
closer to the DVD player
• Replace the batteries
• Replace the batteries to the right
+/- signs
• Insert a playable disc. (Check the
disc type, colour system, and
regional code.)
• Cancel the rating function or
change the rating level.
• Clean DVD/CD
• This DVD's are not supported by
this player
• Check on TARGA Homepage for
possible Firmware Upgrade
• Finalize DVD-RW on PC or
DVD-Recorder
• Some medias have only some or
no chapters/index, no solution.
• Change in subtitle menu
• Most DVD's have only one angle,
no solution

back side off, wait 5 seconds and
then on
