What to do if my Task Force Pressure Washer engine will not start?
    • M
      Mark HollowayAug 12, 2025
If your Task Force Pressure Washer engine won't start, or starts and runs rough, several things could be wrong. Check the oil level and fill the crankcase to the proper level if it's low. Clean or replace the air cleaner if it's dirty. Make sure the fuel tank has fuel, and if the fuel is stale, drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. Ensure the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it's bad. Also, drain the fuel tank and fill with fresh fuel if there is water in the fuel. If the fuel mixture is excessively rich, contact a local service facility.

    • C
      Chad FreemanSep 12, 2025
If the detergent is not mixing with the spray in your Task Force Pressure Washer, make sure the detergent siphoning tube is submerged in the detergent. Also, check the detergent siphoning tube and filter for clogs or cracks; clean or replace them if necessary. Finally, ensure that a low-pressure spray tip is installed instead of a high-pressure one; replace it if needed.

Why is my Task Force Pressure Washer pump not producing pressure?
    • J
      jstoneNov 6, 2025
Several factors can cause your Task Force Pressure Washer pump to fail to produce pressure, exhibit erratic pressure, chatter, lose pressure, or have low water volume. These include a blocked water inlet (clear the inlet), an inadequate water supply (provide adequate water flow), a kinked or leaking inlet hose (straighten the hose or patch the leak), a clogged inlet hose screen (check and clean the screen), water supply exceeding 100°F (use cooler water), a blocked or leaking high-pressure hose (clear the blockage), a leaking spray gun (replace the spray gun), or an obstructed spray tip (clean the spray tip). Also, a low-pressure spray tip might be installed (replace it with a high-pressure one). If none of these resolves the issue, the pump may be faulty, and you should contact a local se...
