Safety advice and warnings
- Read these instructions carefully
before switching on the appliance
and keep them for future reference.
Failure to follow and observe these
instructions could lead to an
accident.
Working environment:
- Place the appliance on a horizontal,
flat, stable surface, suitable for
withstanding high temperatures and
away from other heat sources and
contact with water.
- Do not use the appliance in
association with a programmer, timer
or other device that automatically
switches it on, as there is a risk of
fire if the appliance is covered or
incorrectly situated.
Electrical safety:
- Do not use the appliance if the
cable or plug is damaged.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated
on the rating label matches the
mains voltage before plugging in the
appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a base
with an earth socket withstanding a
minimum of 10 amperes.
- Do not touch the plug with wet
hands.
Use and care:
- Do not use the appliance if the on/
off switch does not work.
- Never connect the appliance without
having first of all filled the oil tank.
- This deep fryer can only work
with oil and water, or only oil,
not exceeding the MAXIMUM and
MINIMUM levels (Fig.1).
- Before filling the oil and water
container, make sure the emptying
tap is totally closed (Fig.2).
- NEVER ADD WATER TO HOT OIL.
- Wait for long enough to allow the
water and oil full separation (at least
5 minutes) before turning the deep
fryer on.
- The deep fryer must not be placed
near easily inflammable products.
- When the deep fryer is on, the
resistance must always be covered
in oil.
- This appliance is for household use
only, not professional or industrial
use.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children
should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
