If there is no “/dev/dvb” option , then it means that the driver installation was
unsuccessful or the adapter could not be loaded for some reason.
TBS6508 adapter may need to be soft-linked under DVB-S2/S mode, otherwise, some
streaming software may fail to use when searching for programs.
Run command:
# cd /dev/dvb/adapter0
# ln –s demux0 demux1
# ln –s dvr0 dvr1
# ln –s net0 net1
Same method for soft-link to other adapters, for example, adapter1:
# cd /dev/dvb/adapter1
# # ln –s demux0 demux1
# ln –s dvr0 dvr1
# ln –s net0 net1
4.4. Streaming software.
TBS6508 is compatible with streaming software such as DVBlast, astra cesbo,
tvheadend, mumudvb, you can choose the specific software based on your needs.
DVBLast supports RTP/UDP output.
Astra Cesbo supports HTTP/HLS,RTP/UDP output.
Tvheadend supports HTTP output
