Mixing old and new batteries or different types (Alkaline, Standard, Rechargeable) is discouraged. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat or fire and must be recycled or disposed of according to local guidelines. If the remote becomes warm or hot, discontinue use and contact customer support.
