Initialization
of
SOE
The
SOE
(Simulator
OE)
is
a
simulator
to
test
the
overall
MTU
including
the
PCBA
Interface
Control.
The
SOE
permits
a
simulation
of
the
BASIC
interface
by
switch
operation.
Prior
to
the
use
of
SOB.
perform
the
following
initialization.
(1)
Preset
the
output
voltages
of
the
DC
power
supply
to
+12 V
and
+5
V.
(2)
Turn
off
the
DC
power
supply.
and
connect
the
power
cable
to
the
pm'[ER
connector
of
SOE.
(3)
Connect
the
power
cable
to
the
POWER
connector
J2
of
MTU.
(4)
Connect
the
interface
cable
between
the
INTERFACE
connector
of
SOE
and
J1
of
MTU.
so
that
the
triangular
mark
of
the
connector
is
set
to
the
terminals
1
and
2
side.
(5)
Turn
on
the
DC
power
supply.
(6)
Check
if
the
power
voltage
supplied
to
MTU
is
within
the
range
of
-5%
to
+5%
of
the
rated
voltage,
using
a
digital
voltmeter
(DCV).
