1. Slide the power switch to Off position
2. Take off the back cover
3. Insert the batteries with the polarities in the
direction as marked in the battery compartment.
4. Tighten the back cover

Power supply
→ Before use, install 8x pieces of AA batteries* 1.5V (*included) in the
correct polarity. → Open the camera case and remove the battery cover.

⚫ The device does not work with a battery voltage lower than 4V.
⚫ The battery life with default video length of 10 seconds will be: 4.5 hours
in day mode or 1.5 hours in night mode & 1600 videos in day mode or 300
videos in night mode (8xAA batteries installed).
⚫ External power supply does not charge installed rechargeable batteries.
It is just for powering the device. For safety reasons remove the installed
batteries when using an external power supply.
Battery life
Refer to the table below to see the camera’s battery life using 4/8 pieces
AA batteries.
Testing Conditions: 5 times wake-up during daytime and 5 times
wake-up during nighttime, average wake-up period 20seconds.
Note: Due to different conditions of use and different brands/quality of
batteries being used, the figures provided are approximations only and
you may achieve longer or shorter battery life according to your own
method of usage.
