If the cassette deck has no
SYNCHRO EDIT terminal
Press ► PLAY at the same time you
begin recording on the cassette
deck.
•When the tracks allotted to side A have
been recorded:
The CD player pauses at the beginning of
the first track on side B.
The cassette deck continues recording and
then stops at the end of side A.
•To record side B:
1. Remove the tape to wind the leader.
2. (For double-side playback deck)
Insert the tape and set the running direc¬
tion to ◄ .
(For single-side playback deck)
Turn the tape around and re-insert it.
3. Begin recording on the cassette deck
while simultaneously beginning playback
on the CD player.
To select an arbitrary
recording leng th D
Select "C-” and enter the total
time for both sides of the tape (1 to
99 minutes) as a two-digit value.
For example:

•To select 30 minutes: 3-*0
•To select 5 minutes: 0->5

•To select 30 minutes:
Keep pressing ^ SKIP until the display
shows" c- 30 ".
•To select 5 minutes:
Keep pressing SKIP until the display
ehows" c- 5 ".
If you make a mistake when entering this
value, select “C-" again.
To add tracks in the extra
space on the tape E)

After step 2 on page 30, press the
numeric buttons to specify the de¬
sired track number.

After step 2 on page 30, press SKIP
►► !) to specify the desired
track number and then press
PROGRAM.
(See page 18.)
When minus sign appears on the display, it
indicates that the time remaining on the tape
is insufficient.
To fade out at the end of the tape
during minus sign display: B
Press TIME FADE.
At the end of the tape the sound will grad¬
ually decrease and recording will end.
If you want to fade out at the end of side B,
press SIDE A/B, then repeat the same
procedure described as above.
Note
Track numbers and numbers of tracks
which cannot be edited:
Editing cannot be performed on more than
20 tracks or on track numbers above 20.
In such instances, forgo use of the edit re¬
cording function, and simply perform record¬
ing in normal playback mode.

•Displayed time remaining on the tape: '
The remaining tape time represents the
length of time minus the unrecorded blanks
lasting about 4 seconds provided at the start
of each track for automatic searching.
• Peak level:
Since multiple peaks exist on compact discs,
even for the same disc a different peak level
may be found each time a peak search is
performed.

emplece a grabar en la platina.
•Cuando se hayan grabado las melodras
asignadas ai lado A:
El reproductor de discos compactos hace
una pausa al comienzo de la primera me-
lodfa del lado B. La platina contlniia funcio-
nando y luego se para al final del lado A.
•Para grabar el lado B:
1. Extraiga la cinta para bobinar la cinta
guia.
2. (Para platinas de doble sentido)
Inserte la cinta y ajuste la dlreccibn de
movimiento a ◄ .
(Para platinas de sentido tinido)
Dd ia vuelta a la cinta y vuelva a in-
sertaria.
3. Inicie ia grabacibn en la platina mientras
comienza simuttbneamente la reproduc-
cibn en el reproductor de discos com¬
pactos.
Para seleccionar una
duracidn de grabacidn

Selecclone “C-” e Introduzca el
tiempo total para ambos lados de la
cinta (1 a 99 minutos) mediante dos
dfgitos.
Porejemplo:

• Para seleccionar 30 minutos: 3-*0
•Para seleccionar 5 minutos: 0-»5
SL-PG350
•Para seleccionar 30 minutos:
Mantenga pulsado MN SKIP hasta que el
visuaiizador muestre “ C- 30 M .
•Para seleccionar 5 minutos:
Mantenga puisado ►► SKIP hasta que el
visuaiizador muestre “C- 5 " .
SI se equivoca al introducir este valor,
vuelva a seleccionar “C-
