(PR100/PR200)
The LEFT TONE block is used when setting the tone and
effects for the left part of a spiit keyboard.
® These tone buttons are also used to select the tone when
storing the BASS part of the PLAY SEQUENCER (explained
later). (Refer to @).)
Tones
You can choose from 16 tones on the PR100/PR200 or from
18 tones on the PR300.
® Only one TONE selection can be made for the left
keyboard; tones cannot be mixed.
© Pedals
Sustain pedal
The right pedal allows you to turn sustain on and off.
When a key is released while this pedal is depressed, the
sound is sustained so that it lingers and slowly fades out.
© This pedal is a four-stage pedal, and the length of the
sustain is controlled by the degree to which the pedal is
depressed.
Soft pedal
The left pedal can be used as a soft pedal.
When the pedal is depressed, the sound is softer and the
volume is lower.

Effects
@ SUSTAIN PEDAL
Press the SUSTAIN PEDAL button on to activate the sustain
pedal for the left part. When the SUSTAIN PEDAL button is off,
the sustain pedal does not function. (Refer to ®.)
@ OCT SHIFT
Each press of the OCT SHIFT button changes the octave as
follows: +1 octave — +2 octaves — OFF.
When an AUTO PLAY CHORD mode is selected, the left
keyboard is automatically set to +1 octave.

Sostenuto pedal (PR300)
Soft pedal
Sostenuto pedal (PR300 only)
The middle pedal is used as a sostenuto pedal. If the pedal is
pressed while the keys are pressed, a sustain effect is applied
to those notes only.
@ Forcontinuous-type tones, such as PIPE ORGAN, the notes
sound as long as the pedal is pressed.
Pedal select
With the PEDAL SELECT bution, the left pedal and middle
pedal (PR300) can be used to activate other functions.
